Gita 13:29
he is everywhere
Welcome back to our Gita series. I’ll be honest with you, I randomly pick a passage from the Gita to force a sense of study and contemplation. I hope you enjoy!
समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् |
न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् || 29||
samaṁ paśhyan hi sarvatra samavasthitam īśhvaram
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṁ tato yāti parāṁ gatim
Those, who see God as the Supreme Soul equally present everywhere and in all living beings, do not degrade themselves by their mind. Thereby, they reach the supreme destination.
Isn’t this the ultimate goal? To be able to see the Divine in anything and everything that surrounds us? I’d like to think that all of the effort that we are putting into this life is to see that the journey is not about the end goal, but rather the journey itself. (Also, a lesson from the gita 😉).
